American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)

The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. ACHE offers its prestigious FACHE® credential, signifying board certification in healthcare management. ACHE's established network of 80 chapters provides access to networking, education and career development at the local level. In addition, ACHE is known for its magazine, Healthcare Executive, and its career development and public policy programs. Through such efforts, ACHE works toward its goal of being the premier professional society for healthcare executives dedicated to improving healthcare delivery. The Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives was established to further advance healthcare management excellence through education and research. The Foundation of ACHE is known for its educational programs—including the annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership, which draws more than 4,000 participants—and groundbreaking research. Montana Hospital Association
MHA is an association whose members provide the full spectrum of health care services, including hospital inpatient and outpatient, skilled nursing facility, home health, hospice, physician, assisted living, senior housing and insurance services.


Every not-for-profit acute care hospital in the state is a member, ranging from the smallest critical access hospitals providing primary care services in Montana's rural communities to the largest tertiary care hospitals in the state.


MHA offers a variety of services, including advocacy of members' interests with state and federal governmental agencies and legislative bodies, regulatory assistance, data products, education programs and communications.


MHA allows businesses and other organizations that conduct significant activities with the Montana health care community to apply for Associate Member status. Through an associate membership, you can gain a lot of positive exposure by attending MHA meetings and sponsoring various events.

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is at the forefront of the administration’s health IT efforts and is a resource to the entire health system to support the adoption of health information technology and the promotion of nationwide health information exchange to improve health care.


ONC is organizationally located within the Office of the Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
